My Favorite Features of the Sixthreezero Trike
This is my wonderful SIxthreezero trike. Big fat tires. I like the big fat tires right there. It's a foldable trike. It's so cool. There are all kinds of features that are listed on the website, so I'm not going to go through any of those except for the ones that I really like. I like the fact that it does fold down. I like the fact that there's a nice basket right here. And it has kind of a closed frame, a closed frame. You know, some of those others have those big open frames, and things are just going to fall out. So I really love that. And I really like these grips. Because it has this flat part right here for the wrist. And I have a lot of wrist pain. I have arthritis in my hands. And so this little flat part, I can just rest my wrist on there. I don't have to always put my thumb around. I can just have it very comfortable and still reach the brake pretty easily and reach the controls. And so these are one of my favorite features of this trike. And I also like, I haven't needed it so far, but I like the fact that there's a little reverse right here.
Tackling Hills with E-Assist
That's pretty darn cool. One of the reasons that I purchased the E-trike from SIxthreezero, and especially the E-assist there is, is because I live where there are hills. So here's my driveway. I come out, and I have to go down a hill and then maybe up a hill over there. And then if I turn around and I go this way, oh look, there's another hill. So pretty much everywhere I live, around my neighborhood, there are hills, and having the E-assist on it really does make a difference for me because it's just too hard to pedal up and down these hills. I'm not one of those super duper athletes. And so I really love being able to add in the pedal assist.
Stability, Joint Relief, and Increased Confidence
I try to keep pedaling, you know, so I'm getting a workout, but I like knowing that I can have that extra assistance, and certainly there's a little throttle right here, so I don't have to always pedal, but I could have it in pedal assist and then hit the throttle if I just want to zoom across the street or something. One of the reasons I bought the SIxthreezero electric trike is to help me with stability when riding. E-bikes are heavier than normal bikes, but on a trike, it's easier to stay balanced and stable. I have two replaced knees. One of those was replaced over 20 years ago. That one doesn't bend as much as the newer one. This means I need to have my seat higher to allow for the lack of bend. A higher seat makes it harder for me to easily reach the ground when coming to a stop. So the stability of three wheels and the low step-through of the Easy Transit 750-watt fat tire each make me more confident and the ride more comfortable.
